What is the EAR program, how do I benefit, and how do I take advantage of it?
The EAR program involves EVGA shipping you the replacement product first! This program is available for all registered EVGA products under warranty, helps reduce the downtime of your system, and let you, our valued customer, deal with EVGA directly so we can make sure you receive timely service. The program requires a collateral payment to be made for the value of the card, a replacement product is shipped to you, and you then have 30 days to return the product for a refund of the collateral payment. To sign up for the EAR program, simply register your product and go to the Support section of our website. Once issued an RMA ticket, you will have an option to start a Standard RMA or an Advanced RMA at the EVGA RMA link and our automated process will guide you through the RMA until completion.
As a special introductory offer, EVGA will be supplying free UPS return shipping labels by email for all EVGA GTX 580/570/480 EAR requests for graphics cards purchased in December 2010 and January 2011 and registered within 30 days of purchase. This one-time return shipping label is valid for the entire time the product is under warranty!
How do you qualify for this promotion? Simple: Purchase an EVGA GTX 580/570/480 anytime in December 2010 or January 2011 and register it within 30 days of purchase! If you ever submit an EAR request while the product is under warranty, EVGA will automatically email you a paid UPS return shipping label! When you receive the replacement product, you can place your original product back in the same box and apply the free return shipping label that you printed over the original shipping label to return the product back to EVGA. This means that there is absolutely no shipping cost to you during the EAR process!
