Is your card ready for EVE Online?
There are several ways to check if your product is capable of running Shader Model 3.0. CCP, the EVE Online developer, has provided a quick tool from their website. Extract the files and run the executable. A quick popup will let you know right away if you are ready for the update or not. Also, if you already have GPU-Z downloaded your shader model will be listed under "DirectX Support". It will be listed like this example: 9.0 / SM 2.0. Where 9.0 means DirectX version 9, and SM 2.0 means Shader Model 2.0.
