We have long desired more than a generic core temperature reading and EVGA delivered monitoring in spades. Now with a glance at EVGA Precision XOC we can tell if it’s the Core, VRM’s or Memory that are running hot which enhances OCing and gives “Peace of Mind Gaming” it’s true definition.

So how does this relate to real world performance? Do the redesigned fins, and the little pins, and the fins spinning at different speeds really make an improvement? Yeah, it does. While overclocked 115 on the GPU and 300 on the memory, looping unigine heaven for about half an hour, temps stabilized at about 52 degrees Celsius, and other tests stabilized around 64c, the ACX card averaged about 70c with the same overclock applied.
